Scientific Director

Dr. Jude Steven Ejepu

Dr. Jude Ejepu is a highly qualified geologist and applied geophysicist holding a PhD in Geology with significant professional experience in mineral exploration, geostatistics, and remote sensing. His core expertise lies in the methodical integration of geophysical, geochemical, and structural data to enhance resource identification and assessment processes. Dr. Ejepu has developed specialized knowledge across various commodity types, with particular emphasis on base and precious metals within structurally controlled mineralization environments.

Dr. Ejepu's professional portfolio includes leadership roles in several consequential exploration projects: Gold and Lithium exploration programs in Central and Northern Nigeria, detailed Lead-Zinc mineralization studies in Nigeria's Lower Benue Trough, geothermal system characterization, and comprehensive interpretation of aeromagnetic and airborne gamma ray spectrometry data for mineral targeting. His technical competencies encompass GIS applications, remote sensing technologies, aerogeophysical survey interpretation, and advanced data modeling utilizing industry-standard software platforms including ArcGIS Pro, Oasis Montaj, Leapfrog, Surfer, and MATLAB.

In his consultancy role with Lyra Mines, Dr. Ejepu employs a methodical, evidence-based approach to mineral exploration challenges, facilitating precise target generation and resource evaluation that supports well-informed strategic decision-making.

Company Geologist

Isaac Tarungwa Iorcher

Isaac is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the overall success and sustainability of our mining project, from exploration to extraction. He joined LYRA MINES in April, 2024 and being a result oriented young man, quickly deployed his experience in project management to assemble a team of top indigenous geo scientists and miners with the technological know-how to reset the trajectory for business growth. This is in line with the company’s vision of merging traditional mining wisdom with advanced technologies to explore, extract and process high grade metallic ores like lead-zinc among others.

Isaac holds degrees of Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology and Mining (2015) and Environmental and Resources Planning (2023), both from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He is happily married and blessed with two lovely children.

Ogbu Uche Judith

As Executive Coordinator at Lyramines, Uche provides strategic operational support, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless administrative functions. With an HND in Office Technology and Management and an OND in Secretarial Administration, she brings strong expertise in schedule management, meeting coordination, and correspondence handling. Her analytical problem-solving skills and structured workflows enhance efficiency across departments. Committed to professionalism and precision, She contributes to Lyramines’ continued success through proactive and effective administrative support.

John Iyene Owubokiri Esq

Our Company Secretary and Legal Adviser, John Iyene Owubokiri has been in private law practice for 33 years. He has garnered extensive experience in the areas of Company and Commercial Law, Private Equity, Oil and Gas, and Solid Minerals Development. He has served as the Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association in the oil city of Port Harcourt, on the Board of Sweetcrude Reports Ltd, an oil and gas flagship, Chiroda InternationalCompany Nig Ltd, an oil and gas servicing company, Via Monde Mining Company Ltd and is the Founder of Swissi Photo Sudios.

He comes to Lyra Mines with a vast experience in the nuances of corporate financing, the law and practice of private equity and the legal frame work for business development in Nigeria. John is married with four children.

KT11

The KT11 integrated down the hole drill rig can drill vertical, inclined and horizontal holes; mainly used for open-pit mine, stonework blast holes and pre-splitting holes. It is driven by the Cummins China stage3 diesel engine and the two-terminal output can drive the screw compression system and hydraulic transmission system.
